Nursing Home Activities

Our Bricks 4 Seniors programme provides unique LEGO® based workshops for nursing home settings, that combine stimulating and engaging experiences for residents. Our project kits have been specially designed to suit the needs of seniors, with larger bricks and magnified images that guide seniors through each step of the building process. All Bricks 4 Seniors facilitators have been fully trained in working with all age groups.

Building with LEGO® is an excellent way to stimulate the brain and improve dexterity. Our brains are wired to think in 3-D and building 3-D models stimulate more areas of the brain than crossword puzzles. LEGO® also offers seniors the ability to work together to build shared models. Seniors will have the added benefit of being able to share what they have built with their grandchildren.
