Bricks 4 Kidz LEGO Builders Club will be launching in Douglas this January, every Saturday from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm. Our club will be located in the heart of the Douglas Community, taking place in the Douglas Community Centre, next to the newly refurbished Children’s playground. After a sell-out summer camp in Douglas, we are super excited to offer an 8-week programme providing primary school children with a unique opportunity to learn, build and play with LEGO® bricks.

Led by Garda Vetted and fully trained instructors, the club explores a wide range of themes such as Minecraft, Dinosaurs, Racing Cars and our favourite characters from The Lego Movie.

While children are having fun, they are also developing important life skills such as problem-solving, communications and spatial intelligence, whilst also enhancing their self-confidence and self-esteem.

Reconnecting through play in a safe yet fun environment. All Bricks 4 Kidz® classes are executed per our motto: We Learn, We Build, We Play. Every class starts off with a LEARNING experience, followed by the BUILDING challenge, and then children are encouraged to apply their creativity through PLAYING.

A typical 2-hour club activity follows an outline of a 10-minute lesson, 90 minutes of building projects using mosaic, technic and colour bricks, and the final 10-20 minutes for creative play.

We have made some changes to how we will be operating our programme this year, ensuring all HSE guidelines are adhered to and the safety of both our builders and staff is secure.
