Bricks 4 Kidz LEGO® Builders Club will be launching in Aghada this coming September. Every Saturday from 10.00 am to 12.00 pm. Our club will be located in the heart of the Aghada/Rostellan Community, taking place in the Aghada Community Centre. This 8-week programme is designed to teach the principles of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) providing primary school children with a unique opportunity to learn, build and play with LEGO® bricks.
Led by Garda Vetted and fully trained instructors, the club explores a wide range of themes such as Minecraft, Superheroes, Pirates and Princesses.
While children are having fun, they are also developing important life skills such as problem-solving, communications and spatial intelligence, whilst also enhancing their self-confidence and self-esteem. Reconnecting through play in a fun yet safe environment.
All Bricks 4 Kidz® classes are executed per our motto: We Learn, We Build, We Play. Every class starts off with a LEARNING experience, followed by the BUILDING challenge, and then children are encouraged to apply their creativity through PLAYING.
A typical 2-hour club activity follows an outline of a 10-minute lesson, 90 minutes of building projects using mosaic, technic and colour bricks, and the final 10-20 minutes for creative play.
