In-School Workshops

Bricks 4 Kidz provide LEGO® Technic workshops in primary schools throughout Counties Carlow, Kilkenny & Waterford. These workshops teach the principles of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) through LEGO® and have been accredited by Science Foundation Ireland which means schools can participate in these workshops to gain stars so that they can achieve their Maths and Science award. Last year Science Foundation Ireland presented 641 schools with Curious Minds Awards and are hoping to award many more schools with this award going forward in the new academic school year.

A Bricks 4 Kidz workshop uses LEGO® that kids love, to deliver hands-on lessons correlated to cross-disciplinary curriculum objectives. The Bricks 4 Kidz approach to learning is imaginative, multi-sensory and fun, creating a dynamic learning experience for your students. Workshops are one hour in duration and can be customised to suit your schools specific requirements. All students will build motorised models using Brick 4 Kidz project kits and lesson plans. Each child will receive a take-home sheet to expand the learning with their parents at the end of each workshop.

With Bricks 4 Kidz supplying of all the necessary lesson plans, teacher guides, LEGO® materials, trained Garda Vetted LEGO® Tutors. We would welcome the opportunity to work with your school to deliver a range of exciting education programmes to your students. All workshops are delivered in line with the objectives of Science Week, Technology Week, Engineers Week and Technology Week.
